God’s Work in Myanmar

In our last newsletter, we asked you to pray for the training that would take place in Myanmar via Zoom this past January. We asked you to pray for several things, and God answered every one of those prayers.

Three to four mornings a week for five weeks, we were greeted by 60 smiling, ready-to-learn children’s workers. The internet connection was great, the English-to-Burmese translator was brilliant, and each day’s message was well received across the ocean by those hungry for trauma skills. 60 workers showed up for every class! That is amazing! Your prayers make a difference!

In March, those workers left for Mandalay, Myanmar, to host a “There is Hope for Me” camp for children and youth left traumatized by the earthquake in Mandalay that occurred in March of 2025. There is Hope for Me was used alongside the story of Joseph, and many children received healing. THE BOY FROM MANDALAY* 11-year-old boy from Mandalay *A non-believing child who participated in this camp through a Christian tutor *Family background: Currently living with grandparents due to both parents’ infidelity; financially affluent but experiencing emotional difficulties. *Through the camp, he listened to the word of the Bible and underwent a process of healing through book activities.   Question: Think about how God protected you when you were in trouble, and draw it.   Answer: When the earthquake struck, the wall cracked, and water gushed out of the big water tank next to me. I fell down. However, God and the angels protected me, so I was safe. THIS BOY WAS TRANSFORMED AND WROTE THE SONG BELOW. Jesus Helps Me Jesus, Jesus (x 2) Oh…….   Those who do not believe in the Lord Jesus,  please answer. False gods won’t say a word. Listen to the story of Joseph.   Jesus (x 2)   Jesus, who is the Truth and the Creator. We will overcome. We are superheroes. God Immanuel, who is always by our side.
