CCTI In Venezuela

CCTI has a Venezuelan team member, Francisca, who has served as our Latin
American Coordinator. She has been in the USA on a religious visa since 2018.
When the wait for a green card became too long, she decided to return to
Venezuela. Her airline reservation had her landing in Caracas on June 27, 2026.
On June 24, 2026, an earthquake hit three major cities. We received this email
from her upon her arrival in Venezuela:

“As of 06/24/2026, fear, stress, and overwhelming sadness are everywhere since the two
earthquakes happened, causing death and a variety of damage mainly in the state of Vargas (La
Guaira Region), Capital Region (Caracas), and Aragua (Maracay). 

Reporters say that while children were pulled from rubble until yesterday, there are still
thousands missing. These Venezuela earthquakes (06/24/2026) leave probably more
than 680,000 children in need of assistance and facing spiraling risks given this natural
disaster.  Currently, some of them are living on the streets and in informal tented camps. 

If there is any chance for me to train “There is Hope for Me” under these circumstances, I will.”

Just two weeks after Francisca arrived in Venezuela, she was able to train children’s workers on
how to use our children’s workbook, There is Hope for Me, in the area of Maracay.

We praise God for this answer to prayer to help the children.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN OF VENEZUELA, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE
LOST CONTACT WITH CAREGIVERS AND THOSE WHO HAVE LOST PARENTS. Also, pray
for continued open doors for CCTI in Venezuela. Thank you!
