Abuse, poverty, abandonment, parental or caregiver drug addiction, sexual exploitation, HIV/AIDS, street life and many other experiences have forever changed the once-enjoyed happy, safe landscape of childhood for millions of children. |

This "Trauma and Crisis Care" core module presents foundational issues and principles that provide an understanding of children's traumatic experiences and the resulting impact of trauma. Additionally, this module deals with basic prerequisites to planning and implementing biblical interventions in order to bring healing and hope to hurting children. |

The Street Children module provides an understanding of the impact of street life on children and their behavior. It also discusses effective prevention and intervention principles and strategies that assist children to give up street life and return to a structured environment with adult oversight. |
